We have an #adoptionupdate from Mikaela who adopted Mac (now Holden) in May 2023! Originally looking for a long haired female calico, Mikaela left with a black male shorthair because she fell in love the moment she saw Mac/Holden.
“He was quite shy at first and hid for the first few days but since then he has really come out of his shell and shown his true amazing sweet personality. We love him so very much.
“He spends most of his time taking naps in his comfy beds and watching birds, squirrels, and rabbits from his enclosed outdoor catio that he has 24/7 access to. He also loves to cuddle and sleep on my chest or feet or snuggle in my arms. He has grown a strong relationship with his younger cat brother and they play together, cuddle together, and groom each other. His favorite toys are tinsel balls and anything with strings that he can chase and pounce on. He surprisingly loves tummy rubs as well. He has actually been in perfect health despite being a little older. He gets health checks at the vet all the time since I am a paranoid veterinary assistant.
“Holden has been such an amazing blessing in my life and I couldn’t imagine it without him.”
