Back to Costa Rica

My foster mom had to head back to Costa Rica for work in February, so I tagged along again. She was pretty busy during this trip, so I didn’t get a chance to get out too much.
I did go with her to visit Arenal, an active volcano. We spent a weekend there, and it was pretty cool. Here I am on the patio of our hotel room at Casa Luna Lodge. It was a great little hotel right at the base of the volcano. Of course, it’s on the non-active side of the volcano, so we didn’t have to worry about getting doused with lava!

This is also on the front patio, but looking out toward the volcano. What a sight! The lush tropical plants were amazing. I had a great time at this hotel.

Later in the day we took a tour of the area around the volcano. It was erupting, so we stopped to pose for another picture. The big puff of "smoke" around the top of the volcano is from the eruption.
