Cat Care Society receives donations from many companies who have workplace giving programs for their employees. Check with your employer to see if they have a workplace giving program through which you can make monthly donations via a payroll deduction.
Cat Care Society is a proud member of Community Shares of Colorado, a non-profit federation that provides financial support for over 115 Colorado charities through over 150 workplace giving campaigns reaching 150,000 potential donors each year.
Cars for Cats

Cars for Cats is Cat Care Society’s Vehicle Donor Program. The funds raised through your vehicle donation will support our many programs that help homeless cats.
We have partnered with Cars for Charity, a nonprofit organization, for many years. On our behalf, they will tow the vehicle, process the title and auction the vehicle. The process will begin once Cars for Charity receives all the completed forms.
Your donation will allow you to claim a charitable contribution on your tax return. As of January 1, 2005 if the vehicle sells for more than $500 you can only claim the amount the vehicle is actually sold for. Please call the shelter to obtain a packet of information OR, you can go online and complete the necessary paperwork at www.carsforcharity.net.
Matching Gifts
Your donation for the cats can be doubled under an employer’s matching gift program. We receive donations from employers who “match” an employee’s donation to Cat Care Society. Some employers will also make a donation based on the number of hours an employee has volunteered at Cat Care Society. Please check with your employer to see if they have a matching gift program.
Memorials and Tributes
 |
Honor your family, friends or your four-legged friends with a donation to Cat Care Society. With a donation of $150 a brass plaque will be engraved, a $250 donation covers the engraving of a silver glass brick and a $500 covers the engraving of a gold glass brick. The plaques and glass bricks will be engraved with your special message honoring that special person or pet in your life and they are displayed in the shelter. All memorial and tribute donations will appear in our newsletter, The Cat Care Quarterly.

Good Samaritan Fund
The Good Samaritan Fund helps those who cannot afford to spay or neuter their cats. Statistics show that these owners took the cat in as a stray and want to give it a loving home. Our purpose is to help all cats and we want to help responsible owners get their cats altered and vaccinated. We give cat owners with limited resources the option of health care for their cat rather than relinquishment to another shelter or euthanasia due to limited funds. A donation to The Good Samaritan Fund helps us keep cats in loving homes. Just ask at the shelter how you can donate to this fund.
